arrivederci means goodbye

The indoor cats are waiting anxiously for the cats outside. When would they arrive? 
Through what path would they take? And so on.

There was a general interest. There was a general solution, to sit in windows. The
cats had their own furniture made for them to sit on, and be able to look around. But
there were glass windows between the indoor cats and the outdoor cats.

Patches jumped up on the window sill. She was outside, but she could see the relative 
comfort of the inside cats who were all in audience looking out at her.

At first, Emmy tried to bite Patches on the rear end whenever she would turn to leave.
But Emmy had become complacent, and will just sit on top of the kitty condo in silent
vigil, watching out the window.
